Library Worker Application

Do you want to be a Library Worker?

Without Library Workers, the books would probably never get back on the shelves!  It is work... but it has a few rewards.  Two of which are parties during lunchtime at school.  One at Christmas, one at the end of the year... and there are other rewards for doing a great job.  :-)  Like any REAL job, you have to fill out an application.  Click the link below to fill out an online application.

Find the application here!

Back to School...

Hi guys!  Missed you this summer!  What have you been up to?  I've been busy this summer trying to come up with new ideas and activities for us to do in the library, but when I wasn't working on that, I managed to get to the beach for a little bit!  Look at what I saw in my friend's backyard while I was there!

There's actually a sign at the side of the water that says, "Don't feed the Alligators!"  No problem... but what if they try to eat ME!?!?!

Our Caldecott Study!

This video is one I play almost every year!  Not only does it have happy music, it shows all of the Caldecott Gold Medal winners from 1938-2010.  I know... it's 2013, but I still like the music on this one!  Which of these have you read? :-)

... and then there's this one.  A cute little girl tells us all about the Caldecott Medal and where it got it's name!
